My soul finds rest in You alone; my salvation comes from You. Today and each day, I place my trust in You.
LORD answer me when I am in distress;
May Your name protect me.
Send help from Your sanctuary and support from Zion.
Remember my sacrifices and my humble offerings.
(Pause)
Give me the desire of my heart – may that desire ultimately be You. Make my plans succeed.
(Pause)
We will shout for joy when You are victorious. We will lift our voices for the name of our God. LORD grant our requests.
You save your anointed; You answer from heaven with the saving power of your right hand.
Some trust in wealth and some in themselves, but we trust in the name of the LORD our God.
(Pause)
Our souls find rest in You alone; Our salvation comes from You. Today and each day, We place our trust in You.
(End with a period of Silence. Trusting that God is present)

I was reminded this morning that trusting God means being open to recalibration. Trusting God - and deepening that trust - sometimes means correction and redirecting. "He rebukes and disciplines those he loves." The way I see things isn't always the way He sees things. If I'm really going to grow in trust, I have to accept His way and his leading even when my understanding of the situation would lead me in a completely different direction. Lead on, God.
